Peter Arkell:
After 18 years covering news, sport and features for News Line, turned freelance in 1985.
Currently works for a number of trade unions and charities, covers features for magazines, and contributes stock images to Impact Photos picture library.
Set up Aerial Portraits in 1991, using a system for taking low-level aerial photos from a remote-controlled camera suspended under a helium blimp.
